VCC Exchange is supporting DATA (DTA) as it transitions its blockchain from an Ethereum ERC20 token to a new Klaytn Compatible Token (KCT) on the Klaytn network. This is being done to improve speed, security, and scalability for their mainnet.
Existing DTA users should note that they will retain the balance of their DTA addresses, which will be migrated to the new blockchain. They will need to generate new deposit addresses after the upgrade is complete.
All ERC20-based DTA sent to VCC after the swap will not be recovered.
Users’ DTA VCC exchange balance totals will reflect the same total that they had prior to the swap in a 1:1 manner. Once the swap is complete, all tokens from the old blockchain will no longer be supported or traded on VCC.
VCCl will re-enable the DTA wallet when we deem the migration is satisfactory.
Please note that wallets will be closed for deposits and withdrawals at 3:30 PM PST on 11/12/2019 (11:30 PM UTC on 11/12/2019). If any DTA deposits you had sent to VCC are not settled by then (marked as pending), you may not be credited with DTA.
Trading will continue as normal during this time.
We would like to thank the DATA team for working closely with us.
